In 1991, Nachhattar Chandi was hired as the manager of White’s Black Gold Gasoline station in Coachella, where he increased sales tenfold within months. An entrepreneur at heart, he bought the station within three years and continued to enjoy record sales as he developed a vision for the largest ARCO AM/PM in the world. In 2002, he realized his dream with the opening of the Mecca Travel Center in Mecca, California.
Nachhattar was fascinated by the opportunities he heard about in America, and by age 20, he was off to the US to create a better future for his family in India and the one he hoped to have in the United States. We are always on the lookout for new opportunities to invest in, and for potential investors interested in growing a business in the area. Using a mix of private and government-backed funds, we acquire land and build the infrastructure to support new franchise locations, and then work with investors to take a site from concept to operation.
Once built, we concentrate on helping our franchisees become successful operators of well-run, profitable stores that employ local workers and attract customers. We train franchisees to manage and grow their business so that their location stands out from other competitors.
